My personal beliefs aside, I created this painting while studying islam and partaking in ramadan, and these were the most prominent islamic figures that came to mind. A hint of Malcolm peeping out the window with the world outside, while Ali and Kareem stand firm was to portray the discpline and firmness in faith and practice that I admire of the islamic faith.
