This painting is inspired by a photo taken by one of my teammates. The image spoke to me in a profound way. To me, the water symbolizes adversity—the weight and turbulence of life’s challenges. The man breaking through represents the strength and determination it takes to overcome those obstacles. And the butterflies embody the transformation that happens in the process—fragile yet powerful symbols of growth, change, and the beauty that emerges from struggle.
